Success in any political battle requires "spreading the word," aggressively and relentlessly. This is especially true with gun rights. To win hearts and minds, to get pro-gun candidates elected, and to assure good gun laws are passed and bad gun laws are defeated, we must get our message out to as many people as possible.

Today, one the most powerful and efficient means of spreading the word is sharing pro-gun stories online through blogs, forums, websites, email, social sites, etc.

If you're frequently online, you already know the power this kind of sharing can wield and how it could help Buckeye Firearms Association generate more readers and supporters. In one recent month, we got about 17,000 hits from StumbleUpon alone!

We need patriots like YOU to join our Buckeye Social Strike Force.

The Buckeye Social Strike Force is a team of smart, dedicated pro-gun patriots who use the power of the Internet to share stories that appear on our website with millions of other citizens in Ohio and around the U.S. The point is to create many new links to our site. More links = more visitors = more website traffic, more donations, more volunteers, and more political influence.

Here's how it works ...

When you join the Buckeye Social Strike Force, you agree to share at least one item on our website each week with whatever social sites or tools you use. The more items you share, the more people you share them with, the more impact you will make.

You can use Facebook, Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, MySpace, Delicious, Google, gun blogs and forums, or whatever you choose. We don't have time to teach you how to do this. We're looking for people who already know how to share stories. In fact, we're looking for people who can be creative and find new ways to share our information and create links to our website.

This can't be random or "whenever." We won't monitor you. It's strictly on the honor system. But as a Strike Force member, we expect you to feel an obligation to do your duty each and every week without fail.

This is how our leadership team operates. We work many hours every week without pay, without recognition, without anyone telling us what to do. We are relentless and tireless because we know we are making a difference.

As a Buckeye Social Strike Force member, set your own goal for how many stories to share and where to share them. Then stick to it.

For example, if you decide to share 2 stories on 5 social sites each week, you will create 10 links total. If you post 1 link per minute, your total time per week is just 10 minutes.

Are you part of the 1 percent?

Few people will answer this call. While millions in Ohio enjoy gun rights, and thousands read our stories and attend our events, only a handful are ready, willing, and able to DO something about gun rights on a regular basis.

In fact, only about 1 out of 100 have the willpower to do what it takes. We're looking for that 1 percent.
