“Can’t Miss” Candidate's Reception Coming Soon

The U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance (USSA) will host a Candidate's Reception for current elected officials, candidates for Ohio's General Assembly, and for candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. This free-of-charge event is part of the organization's annual effort to connect Ohio's sportsmen community with current and potential policymakers.

The reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Athletic Club of Columbus (located at 136 E. Broad St. in downtown Columbus). Candidates and elected officials will use the informal atmosphere as an opportunity to meet key opinion leaders from prominent Ohio sportsmen’s organizations and to field questions.

"This event is popular with Ohio sportsmen and sportswomen and we look forward to working with them to educate legislators on our issues on this night," said Evan Heusinkveld, USSA director of state services. "I encourage all Ohio sportsmen to attend."
