80% of BFA PAC-endorsed candidates win in 2024 general election
BFA PAC-endorsed candidates turned in a strong performance in Ohio's 2024 general election Nov. 5.
BFA PAC-endorsed Donald Trump won a historic comeback victory to become the 47th president of the United States. While some states have not reported final ballot counts, Trump has thus far racked up a commanding 295 electoral votes, according to the Associated Press, and is ahead in the popular vote by nearly 5 million votes. Only Nevada and Arizona remained uncalled as of this writing, and Trump had an edge in both states.
In a crucial Senate race, BFA PAC-endorsed Bernie Moreno won a decisive victory over anti-gun Sherrod Brown, helping to seize power for Republicans in the U.S. Senate. This is a great victory for gun owners in Ohio, who will now have one more friend in D.C.
In the three Ohio Supreme Court races, all three BFA PAC-endorsed candidates won by large margins, helping to ensure that future Second Amendment cases will be decided based on the Constitution and the law, rather than on personal opinion. Republicans now hold a 6-1 majority.
In one of the biggest victories of the night, BFA-opposed Issue 1 went down in flames. Backed by an army of left-wing organizations and paid for with over $40 million in mostly out-of-state dark money, this deceptive ballot measure would have locked in gerrymandering in favor of Democrats indefinitely.
BFA PAC endorsed in 111 separate races at the state and federal level with 89 wins, representing a solid 80%. You can see complete results here.
As of this writing, the contest for U.S. House District 9 is still undecided between Democrat Marcy Kaptur and BFA PAC-endorsed Republican Derek Merrin.
What it all means
This election was one of the most divisive in history, with dire predictions about the "end of democracy" and potential "civil war."
Trump was called a fascist, and his supporters were called "garbage." The Democratic Party tried to convince the world that Joe Biden was smarter than Einstein and stronger than the Hulk, when everyone could see him failing and falling on an almost daily basis.
Both the Biden and Harris campaigns, cheered on by a subservient media, made it clear they thought half the country were stupid, radical, and dangerous.
But the electorate wasn't buying what they were selling. Not only did America reject Kamala Harris and Tim Walz; they also rejected the lies and over-the-top gaslighting that made up the bulk of their campaign message, with little mention of their own radical leftist agenda.
And not only did the left lose the White House; they also decisively lost the Senate, with the House hanging in the balance. This likely will be a game-changer in the next four years, as at least two U.S. Supreme Court justices — Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito — are said to consider retirement.
Nov. 5 was a resounding rejection of the last four years of lies, condescension, and hatred for anything that is not aligned with leftist ideology.
This also means a rejection of the most radical gun control agenda ever seen in a presidential election, with candidates who supported gun bans, confiscation, and a raft of new gun control laws.
While BFA and BFA PAC are nonpartisan and do not support one party over another, we have been strongly critical of the Democratic Party and how far left it has gone. And we are happy to see an election result that sends a clear message that Americans value the Constitution and our hard-won rights.
And for those who decried the death of democracy, we would remind them: THIS is what democracy looks like.
