Akron Beacon Journal/ OFCC PAC endorse Terri Hauenstein (R) for House 68
Republican Terri Hauenstein is campaigning to replace term-limited Ann Womer-Benjamin as Ohio House Representative in Portage County's 68th District. Both OFCC PAC and the Akron Beacon Journal endorse her.
In the newspaper's words, "Hauenstein is the better candidate. Where Hauenstein would confront the political process, [her opponent] seems in danger of getting bogged down."
"Terri Hauenstein was first elected to the Aurora school board in 1997, where she serves as vice president. She can point to shaping a master plan for Aurora schools, and tackling policies to improve reading achievement."
OFCC PAC has reviewed these candidates, and observes that Hauenstein is committed to being a strong advocate for Conceal Carry Reform and self-defense rights in the Ohio House.
OFCC PAC believes her election will ensure continued strong support for Ohio CCW initiatives in the House.
All indications point to this as a very close race, where doing a little can help a lot!
