ATTN: High School and College Students, attend the Columbus, Ohio Freedom Conference
As parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles or adults involved the lives of young people, we strive to give them the tools to grow up and be responsible adults and hopefully patriots who love and serve our country.
Just as we teach our babies and toddlers not to touch the hot stove, or not to run in the street because it’s dangerous, and just as responsible gun owners train our children safe gun handling, we must teach them to protect our freedoms and rights. It is our moral obligation to give them the tools to grow up to be responsible adults.
In the toolbox of life, we also need to talk to our kids about the Constitution and the freedoms that are granted us as American citizens. We must teach them the tools to preserve those rights for the generations that will come after them. It is gratifying when we’ve done our jobs right and our children grow up to be patriots!
There is an opportunity on Oct. 2 and 3 in Columbus for our high school and college students to add to their patriotic toolboxes by attending the Ohio Freedom Conference in Columbus. This conference is sponsored by Young America’s Foundation, a division of The Reagan Ranch Center. The conference being held at theRenaissance Hotel and is only $20 to attend. This will include the hotel room for Friday night, three meals and all materials for the event.
Students attending will hear from leading speakers about why freedom must be protected, explore ways to push back big government and network with their peers from across the country. Some participants will have the opportunity to bring a prominent speaker to their campus through the Foundation-funded program. It sounds like a wonderful event for our youth to attend.
Sign up now as registration will close soon. Go to www.YAF.org for all the details or contact the director Jolie Ballantyne at 800-USA-1776 or [email protected].
