BFA leader Linda Walker named to President Trump’s Second Amendment Coalition
Buckeye Firearms Association is pleased to announce that Linda Walker, BFA Board Vice President, has been named as a Co-Chair to President Trump’s 62 member Second Amendment Coalition.
Walker has been an elected member of the NRA’s Board of Directors since 2011, and is up for re-election for her third term. Ballots are expected to begin arriving in NRA members' boxes this week.
Donald Trump, Jr. and NRA-ILA’s executive director Chris Cox will preside over the 62 member panel, as co-chairman of the Second Amendment Coalition.
According to the Trump press release, “These women and men are grassroots leaders and elected officials who fight for individual liberties, support the right to carry personal protection and will defend the Second Amendment.”
The leaders chosen for this position will advise President Trump and Vice President Pence with their expertise on how to protect our right to keep and bear arms going forward, and on protecting our U.S. Supreme Court with appropriate nominees.
“I accept this appointment to such a prestigious position with great honor and humility," Walker stated. "I have spent a great part of my adult life restoring, defending and protecting our Second Amendment rights. It was a great honor to have been invited and attended the Inauguration of President Trump and Vice President Pence, and I am now ready to get to work on restoring our Second Amendment to what our Forefathers envisioned for our great nation, under the leadership of our new administration.”
Joining Linda on this panel are several fellow NRA Board members, several elected officials and other prominent gun rights individuals from around the country.
