came just to support Blackwell and Raga. In addition to a band of local
television and print reporters, nearly two dozen people, including two high
schoolers who are starting a "High Schools For Blackwell" club, were in
attendance.
Both Blackwell and Raga made brief, prepared statements then took questions
from the media for approximately 10 minutes.
Blackwell's main primary opponent, Attorney General Jim Petro, named state Sen. Joy Padgett, a 2004 endorsee of this political action committee and the sponsor of sister legislation to HB347 in the Senate, as his running mate last week.
Both the Blackwell and Petro campaigns have received the endorsement of Buckeye Firearms Association. Ohio gun owners would benefit greatly from having either Secretary of State Ken Blackwell or Attorney General Jim Petro as Ohio’s next Governor
