Giffords gun control group releases scorecard documenting their irrelevance

In February, the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence (formerly Americans for Responsible Solutions) released their annual "Gun Law Scorecards", grading states on how closely a state agrees with the gun ban movement's agenda.

"Giffords is a leader in the movement to end gun violence in America. ...Giffords Law Center works in all 50 states to change policies and challenge injustice. We won’t rest until every state has strong gun safety laws and every community is free from the fear of gun violence."

The scores issued by Giffords underscore several items:

This "leader in the [gun control] movement" must not be doing a very good job, as measured by the complete lack of successful results in accomplishing their core mission.

"Strong gun safety laws" is code for "keeping as many law-abiding people from exercising their Second Amendment rights as possible."

There is one thing Ohio gun owners and Giffords agree on:

Gun laws need much improvement in the Buckeye State.

A quick review of the 50 state comparisons shows that Ohio ranked 25th out of 50 states, and was given a 'D' grade.

More embarrasingly for Giffords, they have ranked a full 50% of the country as either a 'D' or 'F' grade, and another nine states are given 'C' grades.

Put another way, nearly 60% of the United States has largely or wholly rejected the Giffords gun control agenda.

So thank you, Gabby and crew, for making our efforts to explain how out of step you are that much easier.
