Over the last twenty years, concealed carry laws have swept the nation, Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground reform became the norm, and the Clinton Assault Weapons ban, which was the crown jewel of the anti-gun crusade, was allowed to sunset.

Yet, in a recent email to supporters, the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) claims to have the pro-gun community running scared.

Sending an email that claims the gun movement is in trouble is yet more proof that the loons leading the charge to destroy gun rights have lost touch with reality. Next they will claim the failure of the Obama administration to support gun control is a tactical withdrawal, not a humiliating loss.

Simply stated, the gun control movement's claim that they are winning is on par with the crazed ravings of Baghdad Bob during the Iraq War.

If forcing a longtime stalwart of gun control to run for president as an avowed supporter of the Second Amendment, winning in the nation's legislatures, in the courts and at the ballot box means the pro-gun advocates are on the run, we can only hope to stay "panicked" and "on the defensive" for the foreseeable future.
