Infographic: Hunters Saved Species with the Reintroduction & Management of Wildlife
The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) understands that hunting can be a counterintuitive subject for some, so we’ve created this infographic to help explain the sustainable system of wildlife management and restoration that allows Americans to hunt under regulations that contribute to maintaining healthy animal populations and habitat. This conservation model brought species like Rocky Mountain Elk, Wild Turkeys and waterfowl back from seriously depleted populations. The hunter’s role in preservation and restoration of wildlife has been and continues to be so successful that many nations around the world have adopted this model of conservation.
NSSF invites you to use the “You may be Surprised to know … hunters saved species” infographic to educate the public about the restoration of many animal species.
Feel free to share this infographic on social media and post it to your websites. View more NSSF infographics from this series at nssf.org/infographics.
