Lucky man from Dayton wins 3-Gun EDC Raffle
Buckeye Firearms Association's roots go back when Ohio was fighting to get legal concealed carry. BFA made a name for itself as the "CCW" organization and concealed carry advocates remain our strongest supporters.
So it's no surprise that a raffle with 3 different carry guns would sell 1,000 tickets within hours. And it's certainly no surprise that Scott of Dayton would have such a big smile on his face as the winner.
When notified that his ticket #268 was drawn on July 31, 2013, his exact quote was "Whooo Hoooo, can't believe it."
After picking up his winnings at Black Wing Shooting Center, he became the proud owner of a Sig-Sauer 1911 .45, a Smith & Wesson M&P 40c with Crimson Trace Laser Grips, and a Beretta Nano ProNox 9mm plus ammo for each gun and other goodies.
We'd like to thank all 619 supporters who purchased tickets. Your donations for the raffle go to support Buckeye Firearms Foundation, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that ran 6 active killer classes for 144 teachers this summer.
Are there more raffles on the way? You bet. Stay tuned.
