Million Mom March Staging CCW Attack Rally: JOHN LOTT to Attend Counter-Rally!

Attention Cleveland-area Concealed Carry Reform supporters:

Jim Trakas, Republican Representative in House District 17, is under attack.

Last month, we reported that anti-CCW forces had decided to make Trakas' support for Concealed Carry Reform a linch pin in their campaign to unseat him. Attack ads were televised in the 17th House District, essentially making the claim that Trakas supports Wild West-type justice and that he wants to make it easier for criminals to get guns.

Now, at the eleventh hour, the virtually bankrupt Million Mom March is staging an attack rally against Jim Trakas at Liberty Park in Independence, OH on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 10:00 a.m. They chose this park because Mr. Trakas won funding for this park while on city council, and chose its name. Reportedly, they intend to pass out toys to children and make this a really pretty media spectacle.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED:
The Trakas campaign is working to stage a counter-rally during the MMM event. Campaign spokesperson Justin Ketchum told OFCC PAC that Mr. John Lott, esteemed pro-gun researcher and author, will be on hand at the counter-rally to offer the truth that MMM cannot and will not.

Even if you do not live in Mr. Trakas' district, your help Saturday will ensure that you don't read "Trakas looses race - Support for CCW seen as Cause" in your Ohio newspapers.

The protest against Trakas and Concealed Carry occurs at 10:30 a.m. in Liberty Playground, in Elmwood Park in Independence, OH. Directions are as follows: I-77 to Rockside Road exit, turn east to Brecksville Road and turn right on Brecksville Road, go through four lights until you hit Selig Road and turn right onto Selig Road, there will be a Fire Department and Police Department nearby, turn right on Kathy Lynn Road and the park should be evident and on the left after the library.

Please do everything you can to attend this event. Make sure you bring your kids to this event! Women are highly encouraged to come with their husbands. Bring your entire family. Bring pro-Trakas/ pro-CCW signs and remember to be NICE!
