April 19 is Shot Heard 'Round the World Day
Shot Heard 'Round the World Day is a lighthearted annual event held at participating ranges that provides recreational shooters a safe opportunity to celebrate the birth of a nation.
At 7:30am on April 19th, 1775, the first shot of the American Revolution was fired at Lexington, Massachusetts. The annual Shot Heard 'Round the World Day event provides enthusiasts and patriots a safe and structured opportunity to gather socially and commemorate the first shot fired of the American Revolution.
This coming April 19th, firearm enthusiasts will participate in a commemorative Shot Heard 'Round the World Day at public ranges across the United States.
Join ranges all over the country who are remembering and celebrating the birth of our nation by encouraging your community to come out and shoot on this day. Help spread the word about our country's history and continue to support safe, legal, and responsible forms of recreational shooting and firearm ownership.
