Parma Armory Shooting Center Announces its Grand Opening on October 12-13, 2019, featuring the celebration and dedication of the new 21 Gun Salute Range, the world's largest indoor double-deck gun range.

Rob Euerle, President and Founder of Parma Armory Shooting Center has announced that the gigantic double-deck 21 Gun Salute Range, and intimate 5-Star Gun Range™ are now fully open for handguns, long guns, shotguns, and legal full-auto pistols and rifles.

According to Rob Euerle, "We built the world's largest indoor double-deck gun range to thank our customers, but we named it to thank the military, law enforcement and firefighting heroes who gave their all to protect our country, and our 2nd amendment rights. They deserve to be honored with a 21 gun salute every day, which is why we named our new range the 21 Gun Salute Range."

Today, Parma Armory Shooting Center is the only shooting center of its kind in Northeast Ohio. In addition to being the home of the world's largest indoor double-deck gun range, it is the home of a modern 5-lane gun range perfect for small groups and events, while making it possible for people to rent and experience shooting fully automatic pistols and rifles (legal machine guns) up to 30 yards.

Parma Armory Shooting Center is also home to a 3D Archery Range that is the region's only indoor range on which to shoot simultaneously from 5 to 35 yards at paper and 3D animal targets with compound, traditional, or crossbow equipment.

21 Gun Salute Range Grand Opening Dedication and Celebration Event Details

Parma Armory Shooting Center will have its official Grand Opening Weekend Celebration and Dedication starting on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 9 am. The event will kick off with a 21-gun salute ceremony on the 21 Gun Salute Range to honor the heroic fallen men and women of the military, law enforcement and firefighting.

The public is invited to attend the Grand Opening Day ceremonies and events on both Saturday and Sunday at Parma Armory Shooting Center, 5301 Hauserman Road, Parma, OH 44130.

Saturday Events:

9 am

21 honor guard members take lane positions on the 21 Gun Salute Range while up to 60 guests watch from on the range behind the honor guard, and all other guests can view the ceremony on the many giant TV screens located throughout the facility. Digitally projected US flags will fly on the Meggitt Electronic Target System as the National Anthem and Taps are played, followed by the firing of 1 shot in sequence every 2 seconds from each of the 21 lanes.

10 am to 8 pm

• Open shooting for the public on all three ranges with 26 total gun lanes and 9 archery lanes.
• Free range time for verified active duty military, veterans, active and retired law enforcement and first responders.
• Free gun rental (with purchase of ammo).
• Vendor exhibits open.
• Free food and beverage services.
• Tours of The Shops at Parma Armory with special grand opening celebration sales.
• Raffles of Parma Armory products, services, range memberships, range hours, and CCW classes, plus items and services from The Shops at Parma Armory and other local businesses.
• Free raffle tickets in exchange for Parma Armory decals applied to car windows.
• Gun raffles conducted by Police Wives of Ohio, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that strives to provide emotional and financial support to Law Enforcement and their families throughout the state of Ohio. Raffle winners must be able to comply with all Federal, State and local laws, including background checks, before they can possess any raffled firearm.
• Free 1-hour Introduction to Archery classes for ages 7 to adult, plus bow shooting and archery equipment demonstrations on the 3D Archery Range.

5:30 to 8 pm

Free archery presentation and shooting demonstration by Dustin Bounce, owner of Bounce Archery in Akron, and winner of many regional and state archery championships.

1 to 3 pm

Free Kids Safety Fair

Sunday Events:
