BFA-PAC endorses Jean Schmidt for Ohio House
Buckeye Firearms Association's Political Action Committee (BFA-PAC) has endorsed Jean Schmidt (R) in her Republican primary for Ohio's 65th House district.
Schmidt is a former State Representative and U.S. Congresswomen. She has been endorsed by Buckeye Firearms Association many times over her political career.
"I've known Jean for almost 20 years," said Jim Irvine. "She is a tireless fighter for things she believes in and supporting victims and self-defense rights are priorities for her."
Schmidt was in the House before there was a concealed carry program in Ohio. She voted for House Bill 12, which changed Ohio from a state that didn't issue any licenses to those who wanted to defend their life from violence to a non-discriminatory, "shall issue" system.
She has been an advocate for law-abiding gun owners from Columbus to Washington D.C. and back to Clermont County. She is a leader on many levels and is a proven advocate.
Irvine noted, "She has been involved and helpful on many levels for nearly two decades and we are excited about having her back in the Statehouse."
