SB 360 to Protect Firearms Dealers Passes Senate Committee
UPDATE Sept. 23, 2020: SB 360 passed the Senate 28-5. It now moves on to the Ohio House.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, the Ohio Senate Government Oversight and Reform Committee passed Senate Bill 360 in a 10 to 1 vote.
SB 360 bars public officials from prohibiting all federally licensed firearms dealers in the state or a specified geographic area from the commercial sale or transfer of firearms or their components or ammunition.
President Obhof is the Primary Sponsor and Co-Sponsors include Senators Peterson, Hottinger, Brenner, Johnson, Roegner, Rulli, Schaffer, and Burke.
