PODCAST: Duty to Retreat and the Legal Justification for Lethal Force

If someone is threatening your life, do you have to retreat before using lethal force? It depends on what state you live in. If you live in Ohio, the answer is "no" after April 6, 2021, when a new law championed by Buckeye Firearms Association takes effect that repeals the "duty to retreat."

Defense Attorney and firearm law expert Sean Maloney explains what this means for gun owners. Plus, he'll talk about Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground, and outline the universal standard to determine when lethal force is justified in self-defense situations.
