Woman forced to shoot man caught performing sex acts in her kitchen
WTOL (CBS Toledo) reported recently that a woman was forced to use her firearm to defend herself when she discovered a home invader performing sex acts in her kitchen.
From the article:
Toledo police say a woman shot a man who walked into her home and was conducting inappropriate acts in her kitchen around 3 a.m. Monday.
Police say 38-year-old Joshua Hall, a homeless man, walked into the home of 34-year-old Dominique Black in the 2300 block of North Erie Street.
Police say Hall was in a state of undress and was "conducting sexual acts" in the kitchen.
According to police, the homeowner armed herself with a handgun and confronted Hall, ordering him out of her home.
The perpetrator initially complied, exiting the home, but the homeowner was forced to fire at Hall when he made an aggressive movement.
Hall was taken into custody shortly after.
Under Ohio's Castle Doctrine law, if someone unlawfully enters or attempts to enter an occupied home or temporary habitation, or occupied car, citizens have an initial presumption that they may act in self defense, and will not be second-guessed by the State.
