BFA PAC Endorses Frank LaRose for U.S. Senate
Buckeye Firearms Association PAC is proud to endorse Frank LaRose for U.S. Senate in the 2024 Primary Election.
"There are a lot of good Second Amendment advocates in Ohio who support our agenda," said Dean Rieck, Executive Director of Buckeye Firearms Association. "However, Frank LaRose is a longtime partner who has always gone the extra mile to improve our laws and protect the rights of Ohio's 4 million gun owners. He'll be a great senator representing us in Washington, D.C."
LaRose is one of just a handful of candidates to ever boast of a 100% score from BFA PAC, earning him not only an "A" grade for gun rights, but also a well-deserved endorsement.
LaRose's legacy of leadership started after graduating from high school when he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Frank became the youngest sergeant in the 101st Airborne. He deployed to the U.S. southern border to fight the flow of illegal drugs into the country. He later led a NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo and, nearing the end of his enlistment, joined the Army National Guard.
He became one of the top 20% of recruits selected to complete Special Forces training, and, in 2003, he earned the prestigious Army Green Beret. When Frank is sworn in, he'll be the first Special Forces soldier in history to serve in the U.S. Senate.
He served on the frontlines of combat and in other critical posts around the world, earning numerous commendations and medals including four Army Achievement Medals and two Army Commendation Medals during his years of active service. For his exemplary service in Iraq, he earned the Bronze Star.
Frank returned to Ohio to protect our liberties here at home and became a champion in the Ohio Senate. More recently, he was elected Secretary of State and won re-election with more votes than anyone in the history of the office.
Frank LaRose is a proud gun-owner and concealed handgun license (CHL) holder who has established himself as an ardent supporter of Second Amendment rights. While in the Ohio Senate, he consistently voted to ensure the rights of Ohioans to protect themselves and their families, to enjoy shooting sports, to own firearms, and to exercise their concealed carry rights.
"Frank LaRose is the epitome of a servant leader," said Linda Walker, Chairman of BFA PAC. "He has been a leader since his early years. Frank has led in our state as a senator and Secretary of State, continues to lead in his Army career, and there is no doubt in my mind that he will serve Ohioans and our nation as an outstanding U.S. Senator. It is my honor to stand alongside Frank LaRose.”
Here is LaRose in his own words:
As a U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier, I carried a firearm for a living in some of the most dangerous parts of the world. I have a deep appreciation for our Second Amendment rights. That's why I have a 100% pro-Second Amendment voting record and continue to be a vocal leader on this issue. Gun rights are a vital part of our American tradition.
There is a clear contrast in this race for the U.S. Senate on gun rights. I am the only candidate with a 100% pro-gun voting record. One of my opponents sat on a board that poured thousands of dollars into "Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund" which worked to restrict gun rights. My other opponent championed legislation to restrict gun rights including red-flag laws. If you want someone who is battle-tested on your issues, I am the clear choice and I would be honored to earn your support.
BFA PAC urges every gun owner in Ohio to vote for Frank LaRose for U.S. Senate in the 2024 Primary Election. Early voting in-person and by mail begins Feb. 21.
