According to the Cleveland police chief, a 21-year-old woman was waiting for a bus on East 120th and Euclid when a man drove up asking for directions Monday.
The unidentified man said he could not hear the young woman and asked her to come closer. She obliged but when she did he reportedly forced her into the vehicle.
The suspect drove the victim around for a long time until finally he settled on a location. They ended up in a park where he sexually assaulted her.
The victim said she was able to fight him off and get out of the car.
That’s when she ran and flagged down a good samaritan. They drove her to East 276th and Euclid.
She then flagged down a Cleveland police officer, who called for an ambulance. She was taken to the Cleveland Clinic for treatment.
