Buckeye's Ken Hanson authors article in latest national USCCA mag

The United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) is a national organization focusing on concealed carry. Their magazine is “Concealed Carry Magazine.” The latest issue is full of good information, including a Feature Article by Buckeye Firearms Association Legislative Chair Ken Hanson.

From the feature article, entitled "God Bless the Warrior":

Warriors are not male and are not female. They are not tall and athletic, they are not short and pudgy. They are not white, they are not Native American. They are not meek/passive yet they probably are not wearing an “I don’t dial 911” T-Shirt. They defy all physical descriptions and attempts to categorize them. You might be sitting next to one now. A Warrior can be a school teacher, an accountant, a dentist, unemployed, in a wheelchair, a poet, illiterate, urban, rural, an eleven year old little girl……..even, I suppose, a newscaster. A Warrior does not spend 24/7 developing a plan to kill everyone they meet, but doesn’t consider it strange to look for exit doors, fire extinguishers and first aid kits.

“Warrior” is a mindset, nothing more.

The USCCA publishes eight Concealed Carry Magazine issues annually. Each issue has a variety of articles and topics aimed at the person who carries a firearm for self protection. It is a combination of articles written by guest writers such as Hanson, and regular columns by Mark Walters and others. Expect them to continue putting out quality information, with the occasional Ohio connection.
