Privacy and Security Policy
To protect your privacy, Buckeye Firearms Association (BFA) adheres to the following privacy and data protection principles:
NOTICE
BFA may ask for information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. Generally this information is requested when you sign up for an event, subscribe to our newsletter, become a member, donate, or volunteer.
CHOICE AND CONSENT
We respect the purpose for which you give us information. We give you choice and consent over how your personal information is used, and remove information immediately upon request.
THIRD PARTY USE
BFA does not sell, share, trade, or in any way reveal e-mail subscriber lists, membership lists, mailing lists, donor lists, or any personal information to third parties without your consent. Occasionally, we do mailings to our lists on behalf of pro-gun candidates to help them win office in key districts, or send you information from paid advertisers, however your information is never revealed to them.
ACCESS & UNSUBSCRIBE
BFA allows you to edit personal information you have already provided and/or unsubscribe to any e-mail lists you have previously signed up for. We keep our subscription lists as clean as possible to prevent obsolete e-mails that may waste bandwidth.
SECURITY
BFA has taken measures to protect the security of your personal information and to ensure that your choices for its intended use are honored. We take precautions to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
COOKIES
"Cookies" are small files downloaded to your hard drive that enable your browser to save and recall information. For example, when ordering a product in our store, your computer must accept cookies to allow us to pass your information through our system to accept payment and ship your item. BFA uses cookies in a responsible manner to help our visitors quickly and easily navigate our site. We do not collect or use information from cookies to develop a profile about site visitors.
ENFORCEMENT
If you believe BFA has not adhered to the above principles, please notify us by visiting our contact page.
