Project Appleseed: Show the world what the shooting sports are all about!
An-Sofie Kesteleyn is a photo journalist from Belgium. She will be starting a tour of rural America on June 2nd, 2013 to photograph youngsters learning about the shooting sports, and our American Heritage of shooting.
Her Journey will begin at Dillon Sportsman Center about an hour East of Columbus Ohio, 15min North of Zanesville. RWVA (the Revolutionary War Veterans Assoc.) will be conducting its first Appleseed event at that location June 1st -2nd.
An-Sophie will be photographing all day Sunday of that event. We are hoping to have plenty of great Ohio shooters on the firing line, and as many youth participants as we can muster.
Project Appleseed is an activity of The Revolutionary War Veterans Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to teaching every American our shared heritage and history as well as traditional rifle marksmanship skills.
