NRA-PVF releases new television/ radio ads in support of Rob Portman for U.S. Senate

With early voting already underway, the NRA is seeking to make sure voters are aware of pro-gun candidates running in Ohio so that they can cast their vote prior to or on November 2.

To raise awareness among NRA members and pro-gun voters, the NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is running ads across Ohio in support of Rob Portman for U.S. Senate.

A 60 second radio commercial with similar content has also been put on the airwaves.

The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) announced its endorsement of Rob Portman for U.S. Senate late last month.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the NRA Political Victory Fund," said Rob Portman. "Our Second Amendment rights are under attack by forces in Washington that want to limit our Constitutional rights. I will continue fighting to protect and strengthen the rights of gun owners."

"Rob Portman is the gun owners' and hunters' choice in this race," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. "He is a solid defender of the Second Amendment and his record proves he will stand up for the rights of gun owners in Ohio and across the United States, earning him the NRA-PVF endorsement."

Portman, also a Buckeye Firearms Association endorsee, has earned an "A" rating from both groups.

A gun owner and lifelong sportsman, Rob Portman also has a strong record supporting and fighting for gun rights. Rob voted for the District of Columbia Personal Protection Act to repeal the D.C. gun ban and restore gun rights to residents of our nation's capital. He cosponsored and voted for the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act and voted against legislation to regulate gun shows out of business.
