Ohio University Sportsmen/2nd Amendment Club host Ken Hanson & Larry Moore
Buckeye Firearms Association is proud to announce an opportunity to hear Attorney Ken Hanson, along with outdoor writer and leading sportsmen/Second Amendment advocate Larry Moore. They will appear as the guest speakers at the upcoming Ohio University Sportsmen/2nd Amendment Club meeting in Athens, Ohio on April 1.
“Ken Hanson is an NRA instructor and competitive shooter. In addition to his shooting activities, Hanson has also written “The Ohio Guide to Firearm Laws” and has participated in numerous court cases involving firearm rights. Ken is currently working on getting H.B. 347, firearm law reforms, passed by the Senate in the same form it passed the House.”
Moore is an award winning outdoor writer whose regular column appears in the Xenia Daily Gazette, Fairborn Herald, and Beavercreek News. He also free-lances to other publications. Moore was recognized by the US Sportsmen Alliance as a 2005 Patriot Award winner for his work in protecting sportsmen license dollars in the state budget.
The Ohio United Sportsmen/Second Amendment Club is hosting this rare opportunity to hear both speakers on Saturday April 1 at 2:00 PM at the Baker Center on the OU campus in Athens. There is no charge for the event.
Attorney Hanson will be speaking on his involvement with the legislative process and the changes currently under consideration in the Ohio Senate. Moore will speak about his involvement in sportsmen issues over the last 30 years and recap the current issues facing Ohio sportsmen. Both will provide attendees a "how to" list for becoming involved in the issues and political process in Ohio.
There will be ample time for questions and answers at the end of the presentations.
Plan to join two of Ohio's leading 2nd Amendment advocates in this exciting event on April 1. More information, including directions to the event, will be posted.
