Victim takes firearm away from home invader, defends self

Baus WHIOtv.com is reporting that three home invasion suspects, at least one of whom was armed with a gun, broke into an occupied residence and got into a struggle with the home owner late Thursday evening. According to initial reports, the intended victim was able to gain control of the weapon and shoot the attacker with his own weapon.

Gallup poll: Number of Americans supporting gun control reaches new low

A recent Gallup survey has found a new low of 44% of Americans saying the laws covering firearm sales should be made more strict. The findings mark a 5 point drop in the last year, and a 34 point drop from the high of 78% recorded the first time the question was asked, in 1990.

Gun show operator takes proactive steps in wake of Bloomberg's $1.5 million "gotcha" video
