Vote for Lisa Woods for State School Board in District 5
If you are a voter in State Board of Education District 5, I urge you to vote for our friend Lisa Woods for State School Board. This is a critical "down ticket" race that we can greatly influence because it relies on grassroots support, not money.
School safety is a priority for every parent, but unfortunately not every school board. We need someone on the State School Board who can lead on the topics of school safety and security. Lisa Woods has proven that she will be that person. She has taken a proactive approach to learning about everything from violence to mindset to medical treatment of trauma injuries.
Lisa continues to be a student, training in martial arts, firearms and self-defense on a regular basis and recruiting others to join her. She knows learning is a lifelong activity, not something that ends at grade 12 or a college degree. It has been said that students don't care what you know, until they know that you care. I know that Lisa Woods cares, and her attitude will bring a much needed change to education in Ohio.
Lisa Woods has been active for many years running MCFAN (Medina County Friends and Neighbors). She has proven she is committed to working with others to make our state and country a better place to live. Anyone who attends MCFAN meetings will be impressed by the list of excellent and informative speakers.
District five (5) overlaps State Senate Districts 22, 24, and 27 (Senators Larry Obhof, Tom Patton, and Frank LaRose). It is all of Ashland, Medina, Wayne and Richland counties as well as parts of Cuyahoga, Summit, Stark, and Holmes counties.
Lisa Woods has earned an "A" grade and the endorsement from Buckeye Firearms Association PAC. She is a mother, a student and a teacher. Her life experiences and dedication to help others make her a perfect candidate for State School Board.
This is not about politics or guns; this is about the safety and education of our children. This race is not getting the level of attention of the Presidential election, but it may have more direct influence on your life. Please remember to vote for Lisa Woods for State School board in district 5, and forward this email on to other voters.
