The Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that a man brandishing a handgun robbed a credit union Tuesday afternoon. The story says the robbery happened at the Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 4450 Belden Village Ave., about 1:50 p.m. Police told the newspaper a man demanding money from a teller placed a handgun on the counter.
